Syncing • Using device time Note: the value above does not include device-clock drift accumulated after calibration. This is generally no more than ±1 ms per minute, but the actual rate varies by device. The lowest round-trip latency measured between your browser and the current time-service node. It is typically affected by physical distance, network routing, access quality, and current congestion. Network latency describes the measured connection. It is separate from the estimated time-error range and must not be treated as that range or divided in half. This error does not show whether your device clock is fast or slow.

The highlighted longitude band is a theoretical reference; colored regions show actual UTC offsets.
Colors show UTC offsets at the selected time. Different IANA time zones can share the same offset.
Capital or administrative center · Faint offshore areas show time-zone coverage, not land.

Use the flat map for finer detail; your time and selection stay in place.

Map scope
Colors show time rules. Dashed selection outlines locate directory entries; neither determines sovereignty.
Dotted areas mark selected disputed or special areas in Natural Earth 5.1.2. Coverage is not exhaustive and does not establish current legal boundaries.

How to read this map
- Colors show UTC offsets at the selected time. Different IANA time zones can share the same offset.
- Some boundary areas correspond to more than one time zone. Check the available zones and the specific place alongside the map colors.

The main map ends at 60°S; this equal-area polar inset shows the region farther south. Colors follow the source regions, not a continent-wide civil-time standard. Stations may use different times. Antarctica/McMurdo follows New Zealand time rules.
